Forrester: MS Office still the most widely used by enterprise customers

Microsoft Office is still the most widely used productivity suite among enterprise customers, according to a new report by Forrester Research.  However, in 2010, there may be increased adoption of competitive suites as companies make new investments.

Of the 152 IT decision makers surveyed, 80% are still using some version of Microsoft Office for worker productivity and collaboration. Only 8% use alternatives, which include Sun StarOffice, Google Premier Apps, Lotus Symphony and Zoho.
