ZNetLive halves manpower needs for partners

ZNetLive said it has improved manpower efficiency for its reseller partners by half by deploying Plesk 12.

ZNetLive, provides dedicated server, virtual private server and cloud hosting services to customers in over 125 countries through its state-of-the-art datacenters in Dallas, Seattle and Washington DC in the United States, and in Hyderabad and Bangalore in India.

Other key benefits that ZNetLive and its reseller partners reaped by deploying Plesk 12 included greater flexibility for resellers to manage their own end-customers without ZNetLive’s support; better control where administrators have complete access to account management capabilities; easier management of the IT ecosystem; quicker server and platform migration; and enhanced visibility over IT resources.

“One of our key customer segments are resellers,” said Umesh Dubey, senior system administrator at ZNetLive. “We came to realize that for these companies managing the day-to-day operations of the business can be a challenge, especially when all they had was a website panel that offered very little functionality.”

To provide resellers with enhanced account management capabilities, and enable them to manage all the sites from a single dashboard, or remotely through a mobile app, ZNetLive decided to offer Plesk 12 as their default control panel.

Plesk is designed to help with the management of web, domain name server, mail and other services through a comprehensive and user-friendly interface.

“By automating many of the tasks involved in managing a hosting environment, Plesk has enabled our resellers to reduce manpower requirements by about 50%,” said Dubey. “This has enabled them to maximize manpower efficiency by deploying them to higher-value tasks within the company.”
