Travel and mapping portal unveils location-based directory

Streetdirectory.com, Singapore’s travel and mapping portal, has unveiled an approach to location based business directories.  Users will now be able to search for business services, properties, restaurants and jobs by location using Streetdirectory’s state-of-the-art mapping system and unique user interface not seen in other map portals.

New features released will further cement Streetdirectory.com’s position as a leader in online map services.  With 163 million page views monthly, the portal is already offering comprehensive mapping and travel content to over 2.5 million unique visitors per month.

Does the system use GPS to locate you and then suggest businesses and services close to you?

That is typical of the mapping softwares in the USA.
