A report in the People's Daily Online said the project is part of China Mobile's effort to centralize its call centers to make it easy for customers to access company information and services.
Located at the Luoyang Economic Development Zone, the facility covers approximately 710,700 square meters and would cost 4 billion Chinese Yuan to build. Upon completion, it is expected to provide at least 60,000 jobs.
China Mobile is the leading mobile services provider in China and the world's largest telecommunications company with over 649 million customers.
