DYXnet, ICT service provider in Greater China, records a 25% year on year increase in total revenue. The encouraging performance was driven by the surge in the IP Call Center and Internet Data Center (IDC) businesses, representing a massive 100% and 40% year on year growth respectively.
Lap Man, Founder and CEO of the Group commented, “We are delighted by the growth of DYXnet business in 2009, a time when most enterprises were facing difficulties due to the poor economy. The growth of the Group was mainly attributed to the booming market in Mainland China where we saw an enormous increase in demand for cross-border networking services. As a result, DYXnet has enjoyed rapid growth overall, particularly in the IDC and IP Call Center sectors.”
“With business in Mainland China recorded a 30% year on year growth and accounted for 25% of total revenue, we see great potential in this market. Riding on our existing competitive edge and established network, DYXnet will allocate more resources in the market by expanding the sales forces and POPs.”
Following the opening of the Beijing IP Call Center in January this year, DYXnet has expanded its service to Northern China covering a number of major first tier cities. Capitalizing on the growing demand for IP Call Center services in second tier cities, DYXnet will open two more centers in Xiamen and Yangzhou in the coming year. By that time, the capacity of DYXnet’s IP Call Center business will expand from 1,300 to 2,000 seats.
In addition to the growth of the IP Call Center business, IDC Services also recorded a substantial growth, representing a 40% year on year growth in 2009. Lap Man explained, with businesses of all sizes seeking more flexible and optimization-oriented infrastructure solutions, the market demand will continue to grow. DYXnet expects the number of hosting customer servers to be increased by 50%, from 4,000 to 6,000.
